Global Analysis and Quantisation Day: In honour of Yoshiaki Maeda

To celebrate the occasion of his 60th birthday and the award of an Honorary Professorhip at the University of Warwick, a one day conference will be held in honour of Professor Yoshiaki Maeda on the above date.

The 2009 UK-Japan Winter School on Dynamics and Complexity will be held at the University of Bath, 8-11 January.

Information for participants in the UK-Japan Winter School at the University of Bath: It is possible to travel from Coventry to Bath by train on the morning of 8 January (for example) as follows: depart Coventry 1025, arrive Reading 1139, depart Reading 1157, arrive Bath Spa1300. (Alternatively, depart Coventry 1023, changing trains at Birmingham New Street and Bristol Temple Meads, arrive Bath Spa 1311.) The price is approximately 55 pounds (38 pounds via Birmingham/Bristol.) However, an advance purchase fare of approximately 15 pounds via Reading may be available.
