PREPRINTS

  ARXIV

The arXiv has the largest collection of preprints in mathematics and physics, and preprints generally remain on the server after publication. Some journals, such as the Annals of Mathematics, make available all published papers on the arXiv.

INDIVIDUAL HOME PAGES, OTHER PREPRINT SERVERS

Many mathematicians have preprints and other material on their home page or on department preprint servers. Many journals permit authors to leave preprints on suchhome pages after publication of the corresponding articles.

To find individual home pages, consult lists of mathematics department web sites, such as

Alternatively, use a general search engine such as

Google

This method may also help to locate preprints on other preprint servers.
